Experience the sights, sounds and secrets of one of the world’s greatest undiscovered wonders. AlUla will start welcoming visitors in late 2019, and you’re invited to be amongst the first to see, touch and explore all that this magical place has to offer.
Ecotrail AlUla is the first event of its kind in Saudi Arabia, with the objective of developing sport and tourism in the beautiful area of AlUla area which is known for its prehistoric and rich cultural sites.
For this first edition, you will have the opportunity to race in the 83km and 45km distance if you are attracted by Ultra Running, in the 10km trail if you are a habitual runner or in the 10km hike if you are beginner or if you want to discover the practice of trail running.
Are you going to run the first eco-responsible, accessible to all, and cultural sport event in Saudi Arabia? You still hesitate to participate in this wonderful race that will make you run through exceptional places and landscapes? That’s not all!
This sporting event takes place as part of the Winter at Tantora Festival to promote tourism and culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The region of AlUla is known for its prehistoric and rich cultural sites why not to combine the useful with the pleasant. Coming to the race you will be from one hand discovering the splendid landscapes of this region and at the same time will have the possibilities to benefit of the activities of the Festival, (concerts of music of great international artists, world-class shows, delicious ephemeral restaurants as well as balloon flights in the middle of the desert).
